Janet and Alonzo are college sweethearts who met at Angelo State University. Along their journey, Alonzo was voluntold by his wife to sell aguas frescas at a 4th of July celebration in Fort Stockton, TX. Janet grew up in Fort Stockton where she helped her mom run her aguas frescas business. Eventually Janet convinced Alonzo they should start an "aguas frescas" business in Burleson, TX. On May 8, 2020, they drove to Oklahoma City, purchased the unimproved-version of the step van you see in the picture above, and drove it back that same day. The truck was later driven to Friona, TX to be retrofitted into the custom drink truck with the help of Alonzo's dad. The truck was officially launched at a fundraising event in Friona, TX, August 2021. They are excited to bring traditional Mexican drinks to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex!
